Over 300 teams (over 1 350 students from 57 countries) from universities and business schools across the globe annually compete against each other in the Fresh Connection APICS Global Student Challenge.
A group of experts, brought together by the World Bank conducted an independent international review of the Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Master’s in Strategic Management in Logistics at HSE.
On April 21 the 9
th international conference for students and postgraduates dedicated to innovative technologies in logistics and supply chain management took place.
On April 13-17 the XXII International Research Conference for Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists ‘Lomonosov’ took place at Moscow State University.
The ‘big’ Faculty of Business and Management is being formed at the Higher School of Economics. The Faculty will include the current Faculties of Management, Logistics, and Business Informatics, which will be turned into schools.
In 2014 the HSE Faculty of Logistics signed a cooperation agreement with Lappeenranta University of Technology – LUT (Lappeenranta, Finland). Another HSE partner university is Kühne Logistics University. As part of the exchange programme, students from the HSE Faculty of Logistics will be able to study in Finland and Germany from January 2015.
On July 10, 2013, HSE Rector, Yaroslav Kuzminov, took part in a press conference on the results of the competition for government support for leading Russian HEIs to enter the world’s top 100 universities.
From April 2 – 5 the HSE, with the support of the World Bank and IMF will be holding the XIV April International Conference on Economic and Social Development. Andrey Yakovlev, deputy head of the committee, told us about the preliminary programme of the forum.
The School of Logistics of the Faculty of
Management has brought
together the best Russian faculty teachers in Logistics. This
specialization in Logistics was introduced into Russia in 2000 as a
result of the two-year preparatory work carried out by a group of
researchers headed by Valentina Dybskaya, then Head of Department of
Logistics and Director of the International Centre of Logistics at the
HSE.
The School of Logistics prepares experts who will be able to conduct
optimization tasks and make rational decisions on resources and risk
management in logistical systems. Logistic management professionals act
as analysts and coordinators of the logistic process in purchases,
distribution, transportation, informational support and inventory
management in supply chains.
