The workshop was attended by over 20 students of the School of logistics and external guests, faced with the task of planning operations in their professional activities.Speaker presented a case in which thanks to the coordinated planning processes, efficient allocation of planning tasks between automated information systems managers and experts, the company has been able to correctly assess and use market trends in the crisis period in 2015. The Russian analytical platform Deductor was used to consolidate and to analyze data from accounting systems. Deductor allows the flexibility to customize the scripts for any tasks of analysis without involving professional developers. The result has been to maintain a high level of service, to adapt product portfolio to changing customer needs and increase sales volumes, despite the economic downturn in the country. The crisis brings not only risks but also offers opportunities for growth to those who know how to work with information.Students of School of logistics have the opportunity to get acquainted with the platform Deductor in the course "Information management in logistics", "Integrated planning in supply chains", and "Information systems of business intelligence in logistics".
